The woobies I have had the pleasure to use in the army were alway thicker than this one.

It appears to be exactly what it's supposed to be. I used one a lot when I served in the Army.

Awesome woobie! I got it to put in my bugout bag but it's too comfortable to keep there! I'm going to order a second just to keep around the house.Heres a tip if you want to use it as an emergency blanket. If you'll use a vacuum pack back you can really get this blanket very compact.

. . . your Woobie. Girlfriends, daughters, mothers, sisters, house keepers. All of them, once they get hold of your woobie, will attempt to steal it. I have mine from active duty, but I keep a few lying around the house, just in case a female actually comes into contact with it, so that I can pacify her with a newer one. This one was for my daughter, as a birthday present. After a week of having one of her own, it went missing. After searching everywhere, we finally found it in the dogs house. Seems my dog loved it as well, and yes, the dog is female.

If you've ever used a US military poncho liner it's exactly as expected. The listing says previously issued but mine appeared to be completely new. Picked mine up for an inexpensive lightweight backpacking quilt, it doesn't pack down super compact but I knew that from previous experience with them.
