I tried so many different types and price ranges. This is the best overall. It's well shaped to give back support and a guard to stop any splashes. The handles are comfortable enough (wished it was rounded all around but minor detail) for toddler to grasp and not slip off of. And the winner for me was that it's EASY to clean. There's literally no crevice for grime or bacteria to hide between, it's a 2 piece hard plastic that pops out if need be and can be wiped or washed clean.Cons were the handles could've been rounded furore comfort and the hanging loop/whole could've been a little bigger (buy an exacto knife can easily widen that Part like I did)Get this item if you want something clean, easy, comfortable, safe, and space Saving toilet for a toddler.

We are doing elimination communication. My son was ready to move to the big toilet, and this seat is great for little bottoms. The splash guard goes up high, so no worries about pee spraying into the bathroom. My boy looks very comfortable and well balanced on the seat. He is 12 months.

It doesn't sit super flush onto the toilet seat, because of the hanging loop on top of the seat, however the rubber ring around the seat keeps it in place. Super easy to clean.

We're doing elimination communication with our kiddo and he upgraded his little potty to this reducer when he was 7 months old. He was instantly so happy on there! It's very sturdy, his little butt fit on there perfectly starting 7 months, and blocks boy's pee most the time (gotta sit them on there perfectly). He'd use the handles when he's sleepy. You do obviously need to supervise when they're on there; they can still lose balance and fall.

I am using this for elimination communication.My son started just before 4 months and because of the shape, had no problem sitting on it supported. The handles are also a plus because now that he’s a couple months older, he can hold on while he goes and it helps him to steady himself. No pee spillover at the front.

Our little grandson loves his new potty seat! And as described, it keeps the urine well contained where it should be. No rough edges for tender skin and easy to clean!

This seat is convenient and works great for our baby. We do Elimination Communication (EC) and started using this seat for our 7 month old. She is able to sit by herself without falling through -we of course still hold her for safety, but the point is it's good for tiny tushies too.
