"A right handed set of Locking Ratio Calibrated Machine Heads for electric guitar that use 6 in-line tuners with staggered posts (eliminates the need for a string tree). It has a two pin casing that can be used as is, or with our Patented InvisoMatch Mounting Plates. 4 different sets of InvisoMatch mounting plates in brushed aluminum are included to make installation on most guitars fast and accurate by using your existing screw mounting holes. You can buy Installation Plates in other colors separately. Ratio - Tuned Machine Heads incorporate different string gauges into the tuning equation. From Low E to High E 39:1, 24:1, 20:1, 35:1, 20:1, 12:1. We balanced the gear ratios to each string simplifying the tuning process. With Ratio, a half turn is a semi-tone! Every string reacts the same to any tuning adjustment. Predictable, precise tuning, on every string."

I love these tuners! I used them in my first guitar upgrade project for my Squier Affinity Strat 2021. Installing them was easy with the numbered tuners so you know which location they should go in. No adjustments or drilling were required and I didn't have to use any of the plates provided. Installing new strings is so much easier and quicker now, and after a day of playing the guitar, the strings stay in nearly perfect tune and only require minor tuning on one or two strings which is easy to do with the finer tuning adjustments that I can make with the ratio tuners (unlike the stock ones). I also love the fact that they are staggered which means I could remove the string trees which makes for a cleaner-looking headstock.Even though I didn't need the plates, it's a bit disappointing that such a premium and expensive product doesn't come with matching colored plates (they were silver not black like the tuners) and they included a card advertising a paid upgrade for matching colored plates. Luckily, I didn't need them, but it's something to be aware of if you do need them for a different guitar.Overall, I'm really happy with my purchase (I was a bit worried about how expensive they were). They look great and perform just as well.

I got these to replace the original tuning machines on a Fender Squier Affinity. I spent almost as much on these tuners as I did on the guitar, but they are totally worth every penny. Once I got the strings off (didn’t cut them off) it was easy to get the old machines off. This set is numbered by string so make sure you get the right peg in the right hole. Once I got them in order, I had them installed and the guitar re-stringed vey quickly. No drilling, no screws, just pop them into place with the guide holes and tighten them down.As a note, I have never replaced tuning machines before and it went even better than I could have hoped for.As far as use, I do still need to tune up every time I practice, however, I feel like the strings do stay in tune better than before, and that I have more precise tuning and it’s more controlled. Basically it is far easier for me to tune my guitar with these tuners. In addition, since they are Ratio tuners, I turn each peg about the same for adjusting, not a slight turn for one and cranking quite a bit on another.Because these are locking tuners, changing strings is a snap. Loosen the lock on the back, pull the string out, replace it, feed it through the eye of the peg and pull it tight, then lock the string in place with the mechanism and tune it up, snipping off excess string when you’re done.I would absolutely buy these again. In fact, if I were to upgrade my guitar, I would remove these and replace them with the originals putting the new ones on the new guitar.

Required the supplied mounting plates to mount on a new Fender Tele. Looks good and, more importantly, works well. The variable ratios make tuning less time consuming, particularly on the higher strings.
