Not the best for salmon or steelhead by any means but trout will gorge themselves to busting if you let them! I like to place a nickle size chunk in a white or yellow spawn sac with a chunk of shrimp and some liquid krill or crawfish oil. Rainbows and Bull trout will go bananas if you drift em unrigged through shallow pools and riffles. Standard float gear works too but downsize for the size of stream you're hitting.

Bought 2 for a weekend worth of fishing and didnt even get any takedowns. People around me were getting salmon with regular fish eggs and I thought using a different bait would help me out but I was wrong... I'm gonna have to stick to regular eggs from now on.
