I've never had throwing axes before, but these feel like a solid set. They have heft to them; heavy & well made. But you can also tell from holding them that they are well balanced. They feel good to hold and throw.I also absolutely love the case they come in, making it easy to store them but also protect the axes and knives. I didn't realize it also had the bonus keychain and bottle opener, which were equally well made from the same material.I'm not a pro ax thrower, so I can't tell you if there are better sets, but I can tell you this is a fun one to use for a beginner.

All axes and knives fit in the included storage case with two clips for keeping it closed. These axes and knives are very sharp and are very well balanced. Everything is very high quality. It comes also with an accessory that is a sharpener and bottle opener. I am more apt to use the accessory than the axe for a wrench or bottle opening simply for how sharp the axe is (I don't want to accidentally cut myself). I absolutely love this set.Bonus: Also included was a really cool key chain of a throwing axe.

These definitely have some weight but seem to be balanced evenly. The design is sleek for max air flow capacity. These do come sharp.
