Makes a huge difference in my ride. Just know that the picture shows 2 cartridges and many kits only come with 1 cartridge to swap out on one side. The other side stays stock set up. Took me a phone call to customer service and a bit of embarrassment when I realized 😳. By the way, awesome customer service!

Made my ride a lot nicer. Smoother ride. Smooths out the bone jarring bumps.Don’t go by Amazon’s “fitment chart”. It’s wrong. I checked with Progressive tech support to verify fitment for my 2009 Heritage Softail Classic.

I just finished a 120-mile test ride on Tracy. I had the Progressive Suspension 422 rear shocks with Remote Adjustable Preload (RAP) installed. I also installed the Progressive Suspension 31-2502 Monotube Fork Cartridges so I would not have an imbalance in suspension performance in the front and rear of the bike.Holy s**t. This upgrade turned Tracy into a completely different bike (in a good way). First of all. Tracy is a 2012 Fat Boy Lo, so she used to sit a little over an inch lower than the standard Fat Boy. I set the Progressive 422s to their max height, which brought Tracy up (probably to standard Fat Boy height or higher), and it was evident on the Highway 60 (WV) curves between Cathedral Falls and Hawk's Nest. Curves where I used to scrape the floorboards even at slower speeds, I took today much faster without scraping at all! I found new confidence around those hairpin turns, and the potholes and bumps were less jarring as well..! The suspension didn't wallow like it used to, and I even got frustrated behind a Corvette that was going too slow for me...Before this transformation, I would be holding up pickup trucks riding on that road, because I would not be able to take those corners without sparks and grind coming from my floorboards and uneasy wallowing. If you have a Softail, the Progressive Suspension upgrade is the best thing you'll ever do to your bike.

Am running these on an '09 Fatboy and the subtle difference makes the world of difference. They make the whole bike (I also combined them with Progressive shocks for the back) feel smoother and much more "planted". Corners are more predictable and stable, the ride is smoother, the bike feels more coordinated and all in all inspires more confidence.I have done a lot of work on this bike but before you tackle performance and aesthetics consider this kit and 422s for the back.

First class product, fitted perfectly straight out od the box, fairly quick delivery considering it had to come from he USA, probably no more expensive than buying direct and paying the VAT and duty.

Have been riding this fork kit for over three months on a 2014 Harley Heritage Classic. Before installing the kit the front of bike would dive and bottom out on the smallest bumps or use of front brake. Also on grooved pavement the bike wanted to wander. The kit fixed all of that. I have ridden from smooth pavement to washboard dirt and gravel roads and love the way the front forks work now. I prefer a firm ride which is compliant (not harsh) and also use the front brake quite a bit (racing habits die hard) and this kit works perfect. I used two preload spacers per fork tube. If you like the mushy and vague handling of stock forks you should probably look for something else. Also installed Progressive Suspension 422-4102C Chrome Adjustable Heavy Duty Rear Suspension Shock which really compliment this fork kit.

This suspension component is way different than stock. Just as advertised, the product stops nose dive during braking and hard braking. Ride is a little more stiff as this product is gas charged and not based on fork oil or fluid which most riders will appreciate. Installation willIs tedious but through patience anyone with even minor mechanical know how can install this product.

might be a good product, don't know. fit mit was wrong so sent it back.. fine print and dealing with return I would have been better off keeping it for another motorcycle. instead of dealing with power sports.no stars for them
