New ! LASE PRX 600AB Replacement Amplifier Module for JBL PRX 615M & 612M Powered Speakers . Very Easy To Install. The LASE PRX 600A control panel is simple and neatly laid out, with the user controls being restricted to power, a rotary level control, and a pair of push switches for selecting 'EQ' Boost/Flat settings or Line/ Mic sensitivity. There are two XLR connectors, one for signal input and one for link out, so that additional speakers or systems can be daisy‑chained. The input socket is one of those handy 'combi' types, and will accept either a three‑pin XLR or a standard jack plug (balanced or unbalanced).

Picked up one to try since JBL has discontinued all parts for this amp. It worked fine during the first power-up (30 min). The next day I noticed when powering up it makes a rising pitch whine until it settles into a steady buzz. The amp still passes audio and you may not notice it on a loud stage, but it is definitely a sign something is wrong. Seller will not respond or accept a return or exchange (through E.B.). After the fact I discovered from other customers the company is non-responsive to issues ( but quickly responds to sales questions) and the amps are hit or miss. YMMV. Update. Ended up getting my credit card co. involved. No support. Had to get a refund through the CC. Demonstrates lack of concern for the customer.

It’s not too hard to replace the whole module, the only struggle me a little to secure the screw back on, cause some of the screw housing got moved or went loose while swapping out the old module. The quality sounded the same as the original one
