The middle arm is adjustable, and can move along several pre-set heights to become the perfect match for your horn. While expanded, the legs are securely locked into place and will not buckle under pressure. When storing, the legs collapse into the stand itself, and the entire thing can then be stowed away into an included velvet bag.

This little stand is great. Compact, lightweight and sturdy. I trust it with my Selmer Paris MVI. Way better than the ones a that pop up first when searching which are rendered useless within days when the rubber falls off.

I bought this after my Hercules stand got loose in the folding joints over time. This thing is a great design, solid and stable with the horn on it. Folds compact for transport.Update after only 6 months one of the sax bell support arms came off when I tried to pick up the stand and relocate it closer to myself with my sax still around my neck. Fortunately the sax was not on the Rand when it failed or it would have crashed to the floor. I have reached. Out to the manufacturer and waiting for a response. Downgrading to 3 stars..lucky I avoided an expensive instrument crash.

Arrived on time. i needed a stand for when I play gigs with only my tenor. Has worked as expected. Fits in bell nicely and is sturdy.

This is my favorite stand for my saxes. I also have one for my Alto. Very sturdy but light weight and compact! I can haul it in my case. I definitely recommend this product!!!
