This extends the filter away from the respirator mask. It's simple but works. Useful when one would want to wear a larger filter. It's not compatible with industrial respirators.That being said I am not too impressed about the quality. It looks very cheap, and the cable ties? Please! Might be okay for some apocalyptic role playing but I don't think I would use it if my life depends on it.

Used this in conjunction with a GP-5 replica bought off of Amazon for a Death Korps of Krieg cosplay and it worked out perfectly

I was disappointed that this wasn't made from rubber, while it does seal, it's a weird cheap material secured by zip ties to thin cheep, flimsy metal connectors. I wouldn't trust it in an emergency.
