The coil pull start works great, I know it's plastic but don't believe theirs a metal one that works on my Honda pressure washer GC190 motor, users have to remember to have running water hooked up and as you pull to start the motor you have to pull the trigger on your wand to release the pressure or you might run into other issues! it was very easy to install, it fit perfectly, even being plastic it's a quality made item at a very reasonable price. It allows us to repair instead of replace.Thank you.

mmmm.....The install was easy and unlike some other reviewers, I had no alignment issues with my Honda pressure washerWhen you pulled the cord, the spring loaded spool made some weird noisesThe second pull and the whole thing came flying apart!Got a replacement and that one worksThis is not a quality product and I doubt this one will last

The mount holes are too small to sit flush with the engine top. That's not hard to remedy with a drill. It was fine the first time. Then the second time there was some engine kickback and the cord would not remind. After taking it apart and fiddling with it, it worked for one pull, then on the second pull the cord would not rewind. Poorly made, cheap and a waste of time and money. Looking now for the real Honda part. You (don't even( get what you paid for here.

Some reviews have mentioned that it is plastic which in my particular case it was replacing the original one from my MTD Pro lawnmower with a Honda engine and a plastic recoil starter.Have been using it from October 2020 so that is not a long history but so far it has been working every time. It doesn't take much effort to start the Honda engine so I don't rip the cord really hard. I imagine with some hard pulling abuse it could eventually break since it is all plastic but then again, it doesn't need to be ripped hard to start and so far so good.

It is a good product. Definitely not made as durable as the original pull start that comes with the power washer. The handle is small. The first pull and we had to tear it apart and change the plastic tabs inside because it broke. Once we putt in the plastic tabs from the original pull star and changed the handle it has worked since with ease.
