Secure way to hang your punching bag. Perfect for the basement if it's not finished on the ceiling. For tall ceilings, some adjustment may be needed so the bag hangs at just the right height.

This is a good kit with a fairly thick gauge beam mount. You will need to mount on at least a 2x6 due to hole spacings. Depending on your mounting method and what you are mounting to, you could easily hold a ton with the mounting plate.
