Works perfectly. Is so much better than the cheap plastic ones that come with a new faucet.

One third the price of a plastic version at the local hardware store and far superior in quality. As a professional handyman, I loved installing this in my own bathroom sink. Quality materials, works flawlessly. Great value for the money!

these touch pop-ups are well made and stand up to pricier name brands. The rubber washer for the flange may be a little chunking to seat flush in the sink hole causing water to puddle and not completely drain. I toss these and use marine grade silicone and wipe clean after tightening. Putty will dry out and crack over time. Allow at least 3 hours for cure and longer if possible. In plumbing over tightening is your worst enemy. Most ground joint and washer connections, as in p-traps, can be water proofed by hand tightening plus a half turn.

The only negative thing I can say is that after I installed the drain it did leak. The leak was coming from the rubber gasket. I took the rubber gasket off and used plumber puddy which works much better. No more leak. My suggestion to the company would be to offer the plumber putty in place of the gasket. All in all, the product is built great. works well and looks amazing! Great product.

The seals are very thick. Good for the bottom seal, but the upper seal that fits just below the stopper is too thick. Even when fully tightened, there is a gap between the sink bottom and the metal part of the stopper. Does not leak, but it leaves a small puddle of water at the bottom of the sink.

I had ordered another brand of pop-up sink drain assemblies for our dual master bath sinks, where the drain tailpipe was screwed ONTO the base drain. But when I tried to fit the base into our sinks, it fit into the top opening just fine, but it was just a smidgeon too big to fit the hole in the bottom of the sink(we have overflow protected sinks). I could have probably sanded the bottom hole to make the fit, but I decided not to take the chance of damaging the sink. The description actually said that a 1 5/8" opening was a minimum requirement, which I thought I had, but just! So I returned them and found these Purelux ones which only requires a 1 3/8" opening since the tailpipe screws INTO the base assembly. The bonus was that the assembly fits and seals great, without any leaks, using the washers provided, without using any plumbers putty. I did wrap the tailpipe with teflon tape to screw it into the base, but I'm not even sure that was required. I also like that the pop-up drain stopper pushes down INTO the assembly and looks like an ordinary drain stopper, instead of fitting OVER the assembly like many pop-up drains do when you push them down, producing a large mushroom cap-like appearance. The drain assembly is very high quality and easy to install with no leaks on the first try.
