I purchased these Pyle ceiling speakers to replace my existing Hometech speakers. Several wires in the back with little explanation as to which ones to use. I searched Youtube and the internet including the Pyle web site with no luck at all. If you are tech savvy you will figure it out, if not, these are not the speakers for you. I tried using the screen removal tool to remove the screens for installation but it bent all up during the process and took brute force to remove. The cutout template is a tad too small for the hole that is actually needed so when cutting the hole, I had to make the hole about 1/8 of an inch bigger than the cutout. After installation reinstalling the screens was just as difficult. I used a pair of plyers to bend the sides of the screens inward a tad all the way around which helped a bit but still took some time. I have not pushed these speakers to hard yet to test the limits but at an average listening level they appear to work fine. I would not buy these again and would not recommend although the price is pretty good for what you get.

I've had these speakers at my coffee shop for 8 months, and they still work like charm. sound quality is great! If amplifier turned all the way, it will get really loud too!

There wasn’t just a positive and a negative wire, it had lots of wires, which was very confusing. Instructions didn’t help much. Once I figured it out they sounded great for my surround sound speakers.

These speakers showed up in good packaging and condition. Installation was very easy, it came with a template to trace on the ceiling and a wiring diagram for the speaker's.I used this in conjunction with an in-wall powered, control panel:https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00V3RJWM6/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s02?ie=UTF8&psc=1This combo works amazingly well and is great quality. The only thing I could find that was a negative, is that the speakers do start to distort at extremely high volume. Obviously for the price you can't expect totally non-distortion. However all-in-all, they are loud, crisp sounding speakers. I will buy more.

Remember that if you wire the 70 volt option on this, you cannot get the full 300 watts out of it. With that said, I ended up using the 8ohm option. Also, you get out of what you put into this speaker, meaning that if you don't have a good audio source (amp & eq) then you won't get great results.Installs rather easily (I've installed over 20 pairs of these in businesses/houses), the hardest part is designing your speaker run!I would buy again with no hesitation.
