I use this for tv sound and Bluetooth music in my shop. It works great. It’s not audiophile sound but it’s pretty darned good.

I connected it directly to the speakers. But could not connect to the LG soundbar! I tried through the hdmi and optical output, but no sound! No instructions in the manual to get the output through hdmi or the optical output! Can someone help me? Only working through direct speakers, that's working fine!

This receiver includes an IR remote control, but it cannot turn the receiver on or off or adjust the volume; both functions must be performed manually. Despite the remote control having a Power Toggle button and Volume Up and Down buttons, these functions do not work. Initially, I thought the remote was broken and the batteries were dead; however, the mode and settings buttons worked fine. Upon rereading the manual, I discovered that the remote cannot be used to turn the receiver on or off or to adjust the volume. If you plan to use the remote control, don't buy this product.
