I dropped it from about 4 feet off the ground and it didn’t do well, everything came apart and was never able to find all the pieces.

This quick connect snaps together and secures well, leak free. I was hoping to be able to use it to Easily switch gasses between my MIG and TIG set up. I need a female for each gas inlet and a male on the hose connected to my regulator. This setup comes with one male and one female connector. To get another pair. These are rather expensive so I'm having second thoughts.

I recently added a double flow meter to my Argon tank so that I can back gas when welding tubing. I had originally just connected my second hose to the flow meter but find myself constantly checking to make sure its not accidentally flowing when not in use. When I saw this quick disconnect fitting, I knew this was the solution for my 2nd hose. I just installed it directly to the second flow meter so I can connect the hose when I need it, but when not in use I can store it out of the way instead of having it coiled up around the tank. Even better is that when its not connected the fitting prevents gas from flowing if the flow meter gets turned on accidentally. The fitting itself is beautifully machined and nicely finished. Definitely the perfect way to set up a purge hose and a great addition to my TIG set up.

Even though it’s pricey it boasts 2 units, you only get one. No way I’m spending $60 for a pair of these.
