I’m a professional tile installer and I approve this cutter. Btw this is an Ishii version under QEP brand. Totally worth it.

This is not a Brutus 10600Br but a QEP 10600Br. Although it is built well and I personally like the look. It's nots what is advertised for this purpose I'm skeptical of the item. Tonight I'll be using this on the job and will update rating depending on cut.

Wow! I have done 2 or 3 tile jobs before and only used a wet saw. In my current project I am using 24" tiles and my trusty wet saw can only rip a 20" tile. After reading extensively, I decided to give the Brutus a try. My very first cut was perfect and so much faster than using a wet saw. I am not finished yet, but so far impressed with how well this tool works. I can set it up right there in the bathroom with me which will save trips back and forth to cut tiles. I will still have to use the wet saw on some cuts, but this tool will definitely save me some time.....follow up.. I still give this tile cutter a 5 star rating, but I need to mention that this tile cutter, does not do a great job on smaller cuts. If you are Just trying to take a few inches from the side of a tile, you're going to bust a few tiles but it can be done. Nonethess, still a great purchase in my book.

I have had three of these now. Not sure how the reviews were so good when I purchased this thing. Our cheap one from Home Depot works so much better. We can never get a clean cut. We are a renovation company and our contacts who has been working for us for years now tried it on our personal house and did not like it at all. Though this thing would be great, but was very wrong. We returned the first two after receiving them thinking they were defective. Now were stuck with this junk. Don't buy.

Works great out of the box 2 practice cuts and it works amazing. Quick, straight, mostly neat cuts. It's not a replacement for a wet saw for exposed edges but it saves an incredible amount of time. Great for cuts that butt to the wall. Wish I bought one sooner, not a sigma or rubi but it's also $400 cheaper. For thin, cheap procelain do not use the breaker will shatter piece 4/5 times; score with the cutter and snap over your thigh.

I had to return a tile cutter to Home Depot- had paid about $45 for it. I guess you get what you pay for. I read the reviews of this tile cutter and must say that it is a very high quality piece of equipment. I am able to cut 1X1 pieces of tile without chipping or cracking. Very clean lines. I am getting ready to tile a shower at home and this will work perfectly. The ability to do 45 degree angle cuts is also a big plus.

Fantastic tile saw to especially cut large format tile. Unlike the less expensive versions from the box stores, this saw cuts and breaks very easily. The only time it is tricky to get it to break is if you are trying to rip a small piece of tile of large format. Depending on your tile, you may have to be careful how hard you push as you are scoring it as some tile breaks the first score on its own. I highly recommend this tile saw.
