First of all, the wooden ones didn't fit. I just couldn't get them in, so no, they weren't an easy fit. The color was nice, and they were light, which would have made them easy to use if the twist-on mechanism hadn't gotten stuck. Because of that, my ears got super irritated, and I was very upset. Honestly, I'd just stay away from these. Maybe you'd have better luck, but for me, they just didn't work.

The black ones are plastic. Nothing super special but not cheap quality. They're pretty and the regular screw on back. The wooden ones feel nice, a little light but it's my first pair of wooden plugs. That said I wear a size 0 and bought a size 0 and the wooden ones were very hard to get in. After wearing them for a bit they feel better and can slide in and out for cleaning or changing easier. I'm not sure if that's normal for wooden ones to fit like that or if these are sized weird.

So customer service reach out to fix my order. That's awesome because I love the sun and moon gages they are so pretty and was so sad they didn't fit. What's also cool is since I had them I've stretched my ears to a 14mm and they will be sending me my new size.

My partner wa surprise that I take some special ones this time but he got two compliments already !! He wears the moon and the sun together ! The little box ones are in plastic! Just The brass colour on the wooden sun and the moon are fading a little bit so maybe take them out when showering !

These plus are so cute, and are sturdy and comfortable. The three pair pack is also a great deal. The plugs themselves look exactly like they do in the pictures which is always nice. I will be reordering again, and I recommend these to anyone looking for a good deal on well made body jewelry.
