Seemed good, but less than seven months and it will not power on anymore. I was told this was sold in the EU in 2020 so the warranty was already expired. Basically threw money down the drain. Very disappointed. I have had great luck with Synology of course, and decent luck with Terra Master as a second NAS.

Una vez instalado y configurado, no puede ser uzado cuando hay una tranferencia grande de archivos, está muy básicoNo hagan caso de las reviews de YouTube, nunca lo usan en verdad, lo tengo conectado a un Plex en un servidor Docker y va muy mal, he desconectado todo lo demás, ha desinstalado y apagado todos los servicios y aplicaciones inecesarias y aún así va muy mal, el disco no llega ni al 50% de uso pero el IO Wait del CPU no baja de 50%

The QNAP TS-130 arrived quickly and set up just a quick. I purchased this for my best friend so he could have storage and access to his video projects he does. I set it up at my house and transferred perfectly to his network and was easily accessible. Great little NAS.

I was looking for a simple easy to setup NAS system. i watched a ton of reviews. I was shown this QNAP TS-130, as my job used to be in IT, i'd used the QNAP systems before. I used to run a QNAP TS-462 unit. The QNAP name i trust, so i bought a cheap ts-130. I love it.+easy to setup+small unit+hard drive installation 4 minutes+reasonably pricedonly negative thing is it has got a single 1gig rj-45 connection. this fact, i knew before i bought it. Slightly slower upload and download, but does what it needs to do. Cute colored too.If you need a NAS that is low cost, easy to use, don't mind it being a bit slower. This is perfect. highly recommend this unit.

It would be a great NAS if it didn't die on day 31. I tried to get a replacement through Amazon, but I was a day late then contacted QNAP online support, and after a week of back and forth of me telling them the same thing they finally said to send it back to them and they would look at it, then when I asked where to drop it off they said the location should be on the printout but it was just where it should be sent not the company to ship with. They ended up wanting me to pay for shipping for a device that stopped working after a month. Completely unexpectable.

This review is for the TS-130. I have a very specific use case and this was the only product I could find that seemed like it would work for me at this price point.. I use it as an on premises back-up of my cloud storage. The QNAP user guide that in the box is incomplete and assumes that you want to connect your drive to the cloud and use their phone app. I found the interface far too cute and cumbersome. I had to do a google search to find out how to map the drive to Windows. QNAP assumes that you want to do everything in the browser based interface. There are other tools, but you have to dig for them.The drive housing seems to be a high quality build. The 4TB Seagate Iron wolf fit perfectly and came to life right out of the box. The cooling fan speed is configurable and is very quiet. I think this will be a good purchase. It's been 1 day, but it's be a lot of data moving and verification. Zero issues once I got it mapped. Time will tell. If it dies early, I will update this review. This is my 4th NAS drive, I only count on them lasting or being supported for 3 years.

Would like to have been able to use this little NAS as it would have most likely been perfect for my use in a small home environment and only used to backup files on the network. It would have replaced my aged WD Cloud NAS that is no longer supported by Western Digital.Unfortunately I was unable to configure the Ethernet Interface for DHCP. It simply refused to get an IP Address from my router. The NAS software was pretty simple to use for this configuration and indicated that everything had been saved but just as quick as I tried to renew the address the interface would revert back to the system default IP Address. I could configure the interface for a fixed IP Address on my network and was able to access the webpage using that address however the system kept complaining that my DNS Server could not resolve hosts and other errors that I can't recall.I plugged a TP-Link TL-WDN3200 USB wifi module into the USB2 port on the NAS and was able to configure it for SSID and Password and it connected to my router and got an IP Address via DHCP.I returned the NAS to Amazon along with the 4TB hard drive purchased to install in the NAS as it was no longer needed.I did contact QNAP support but did not feel like waiting on their response as it seemed to be a lost cause hardware wise and enough time had been wasted trying to get it working.

Synology社のDS120jを使用していました．今回冗長性確保のため他社製品を追加導入することになり，QNAPの本製品を購入しました．TOSHIBAのNAS用HDD(8TB, CMR, 7200RPM)を組み込んでいます．まず，HDDの揺れが外装に伝わるのを抑える防振ゴム(Synologyのモデルにはあります)などはなく，比較してとてもうるさいです．また，HBS3を用いてクラウドストレージとのリアルタイム同期を設定している状況ではありますが，全体的にあまりにも動作が重いです．ログインページに入るのに15秒，ログイン後各操作による画面遷移に都度30秒以上かかります．(CPU使用率は30%前後，メモリ使用率は70%前後と表示されています．)Synology社の方では大きな操作を行うとCPU・メモリ使用率ともに100%に張り付きますが，ブラウザ上の操作でもたつきを感じることはありません．こちらはメモリを2倍積んでいるということで軽快な動作に期待していましたが，あまりにもOSの出来が酷いようです．Android2.3のXperia acroを思い出しました．操作感はacroよりも重いですが．あくまでバックアップとしてしか使用しないためこのまま運用を続けますが，個人的にはSynology社のNASをおすすめします．デザインもいいですしね．やたらとSynologyと比べていますが，ステマなどではありません．あまりにQNAPのUI/UXがお粗末すぎるのです．

Very hard to set up and use. Very slow. Very non intuitive with the website that you use to interact with it. Im sending it back. Im getting another WD mycloud.
