They did not have the hard plastic insert to protect your wrist. Just a glorified pair of wrist bands. Returning the item.

These wrist guards are perfect for my wrists. I have nerve damage and could definitely tell a difference with and without wearing them during my workout. They are very supportive and durable. Very pleased and would recommend.

Great protection for my wrists. Long enough, snug (I have small wrists and was worried that they are going to be loose) and heavy duty. Very happy with this product.

Great product! I have a 7-in wrist and these fit me just fine, not too loose or too snug. These allow me to use inexpensive kettlebells with square sides that would normally hit my wrist bone or forearm and cause pain while pressing overhead; I can't feel a thing! These also work good if your form is off and you're banging a kettlebell against your forearm; that's never really been an issue for me, but when it happens, I can't feel a thing there either. I've only been using these for about a month, but so far they're holding up just fine. I'd give these 10 stars if I could!

Simple, easy, and work as advertised. Easy to get off and on if switching between different lifts, but so comfortable that I really don't even find that I need to. Exactly the right thing for protecting the wrists when working out with kettlebells. I have other wrist guards that strap on, and even though they are thicker and theoretically should provide more protection, the straps and the rings that the straps fasten to both add thicknesses and extra materials in areas that the kettlebells rest on, causing discomfort in the places they are there to protect. This wrist guard is simple, with no attachments or other components to interfered with comfort or protection. I will edit once I've had to wash these a few times, but I don't see any reason why they wouldn't last when washed by hand and allowed to air-dry. I will say that I can see why someone with a larger wrist or an overweight person might have difficulty with the fit of this item. It fits somewhat snugly on me, and I'm not extremely large.

I have very small wrists, sort of like a child. I wouldn't say they are weak, but they need some help especially when working out with kettlebells. So I thought these wrist guards would be perfect for me. At first glance, yes the big white Q is very goofy. To mask it, you can always sharpie over it. The material itself is made of cheapo terry cloth and get all over your wrist after you take it off. I haven't tried washing it yet, but I imagine that would help reduce the shedding. Maybe? There is the plastic wrist guard itself that are wrapped around by the terry cloth. Since it's plastic, I am confident that you can machine wash it, just make sure it's done cold water so it doesn't warp. You can't take the plastic out of the wrist guard due to the construction of the product. Now the problem for me is that it hurt when I used them (not a great hurt, but annoying enough that I could not work out with them). The plastic would dig into my wrist bones. But I realize this isn't the fault of the product but is due to my tiny wrists (which I did not deduct any stars for). /Sigh.I gave them to my boyfriend who has normal adult sized wrists (jealous) and he feels that it does provide some support and guard against the KBs banging on his wrists. But his complaints are similar to mine with the goofy Q and the low quality terry cloth getting all over his wrists after every workout. Also, he doesn't think it will last very long due to the quality and the price I paid for it.
