For starters, it was about 3/4” short of properly fitting the stated models. Then, when testing for function on a lift, the cable end pulled out of the ball, rendering the brakes unusable. Glad I figured this out in my garage, and not on the trail! Very dangerous, and I would stay well clear.

Could not find a cable for my 1985 Honda 250 trx. Looked at all the pictures and took a chance that I could adjust the rear brake enough to get this to work. Well it did. this one seems just a bit longer, but if you play with it some, it will do the job. part is usually for 86 and 87 only.

Worked perfectly was almost exact to old one had to change routine though since it wasn't worn and stretched other than that worked fine perfect oem part
