I bought this part and several otherd to do a timing belt replacement, including pulleys, tentioners serpentine belt, water pump and cooling system servicing. Radiator cap was an integral conclusion to a comprehensive preventative maintenance action.

The radiator cap works amazing. It fits perfectly on a 2009 Acura MDX.

Description it says it fits my Honda HRV, it did not. This radiator cap looks very similar to the stock Honda cap until you look at them side by side. It's definitely not a OEM genuine Honda part. Biggest problem is the tow attachment tabs on the inside of the cap that hold it to the radiator. They are smaller than the original cap. The cap I received would not fit onto the radiator unless I were to bend the mounting tabs out a bit. However they are far smaller than the stock cap and look pretty thin metal. I wasn't going to do this. That's what holds the cap on under pressure. I returned the cap, not worth the risk of failure in my opinion.

First it wouldn't go on had to bend the tabs out to get it to go on. But it doesn't even seal.

It looks the same but the diameter is off. I could not get it to go in and didn't want to force it so returned.
