Some of the bowling alleys I frequent this summer are trying to save money by putting less oil on their lanes, which can be frustrating. In one house, for example, I automatically start with my left foot aligned close to the left gutter. Saw this baby and decided to try it. Most impressive. I was surprised by how well this ball maintains contact with the lane (rather than just skidding as normal polyester balls do) AND by the strong move at the pins (thanks to the strong asymmetric core, which is hard to find in polyester balls) AND by the overall carry. This ball still hooks, but I am at least 10 boards right with my feet of where I stand with my other equipment.

I was a little annoyed with it at first because I thought I would be able to use it both as a strike ball and a straight shot spare ball, and it was doing awful at both. I have it drilled with a very weak 2LS layout to minimize hook. It would not hook enough near the center of the lane to be significantly better than a house ball, but would hook too much to throw it straight at the 10 pin. I have since applied some aggressive surface to it and it works great as a strike ball on burnt lanes and is really my only hope on lanes that have never once been oiled (unfortunately not uncommon around me).I had gotten used to hitting a 10 pin with a more aggressive zenball and using its hook to make it barely avoid the gutter and this thing now heavily surfaced is a bit of a weaker hook than the zenball, so i can throw it in a similar but less risky way to get the 10 pin.If you dont apply any surface to it at all, and you get a weaker layout, it will be a very awkward ball, but if you apply some heavy surfacing on it, it can be a great ball just a little bit less hook than like the Hustle lineup of balls.

This textured plastic ball with the Incognito core is great when you’re on dryer lanes, or when you just want to play a lot straighter. Even though a plastic surface the core and texture give this ball the ability to still hook on the back end and still drive through the pins.

Most people mention it's a spare ball but I'm using as my main. Working nicely making strikes!

This ball is great for bowlers with a lot of hand, no thumb, and two handed releases on drier lane conditions or for lanes that flat out hook. A definite ball to have in your arsenal.
