Amazon VineThe shipping was combined with other items and came undamaged.I found Setup to be fairly simple and straightforward. There are two holes in the bracket to screw it into something above or you drop it into a junction of your gutter. .It is made of Metal possibly steel. It has some type of coating on it to keep it rust free under wet weather conditionsFor the cost it is overpriced. The style and design are basic.PROsIt is lightweight and comes with holesCONsIt does not come with the actual chain for water collection.I rate this a 3.5/51 Shipping.5 Setup No instructions shipped but images on the ad1 Materials/Durability0 Cost I feel like I was duped. This should cost maybe $2. it's a simple bracket you could get at Home Depot. I thought that the rest of the chain was not shown in the picture because it was a thumbnail and the style of the ad. I was expecting the rest of the chain which you need for water collection. See the picture I have added and look in the bottom right corner.1 Style/Design

At first I was a little shocked how light weight this gutter chain hanger was. Then I re-read the description and saw it is made of an allow as opposed to hard steel. This actually turned out to be a good thing as the gutter I was hanging this from is at least 50 years old and has a non-standard downspout shape and size. I was easily able to bend the "clip" to the angle I needed to get inside the downspout and flat on either side. The hanger itself easily allowed a large and heavy 9 foot, 5/16ths link steel chain to be hooked on with no manipulations.Back to the material and weight of the hanger and clip: The weight of my 9 feet of steel chain is easily held by this product. I had to reinforce the gutter to the fascia and adjoining roof joists as the gutter was the week link (no pun intended), not this hanger itself.Recommended.
