Got this for my kid's soccer cleats & ball, and it's working out great - his muddy cleats go in the bottom, the ball goes in the middle, and his snacks, spare clothes, etc go in the top. Everything neatly separated and the dirt stays out of the rest of the rest including my vehicle & house! Fantastic pack!

This works great for my son who plays junior high basketball. There is a compartment for his ball, and another for his shoes. He can easily fit a water bottle and his jersey in this bag. This is what he needed, and the bag delivered.

Yes. The idea is to use this with a basketball, shoes and other related stuff. I haven’t played basketball in 30+ years but I can tell you that this pack would work great for that. Its very clear that you could easily stuff a ball, shoes and more in this pack.I’ve taken advantage of this pack to haul food for a 12 hour work shift. In the shoe compartment I place a salad with an ice pack wrapped with an insulator. In the larger compartment that is reached from the top I place a thermos of tea, a quart of filtered water and two 16 oz jugs of smoothies. I place the smoothie jugs in the padded computer sleeve with a couple of thin ice packs and they stay cold all day. And I stuff a few personal items in the additional front storage and everything fits with space left over.The straps are well padded and the pack seems well made.Recommended!

We ordered the RAINSMORE 45L "Basketball Backpack" for a teenager who plays soccer. He loved it! It is enormous and finally gives him a way to take all his equipment with him to practices and games. It measures about 21 inches tall and about 14 inches wide with many pockets to help with organization. It has elastic netting on each side of the backpack, divided into 2 pockets each, per side. Each pocket is large enough to accommodate a full-size water bottle (but not a "Stanley"). At the bottom of the bag is a separate container to store cleats/sneakers/shoes. It is easily wide enough for a size 11.5 shoe; in the photo, there is a pair of size 10.5 sneakers in the bag. Above this compartment is a large, separate pocket designed to store a basketball, but which works well for a soccer ball, as well. On the outer face of this are elastic straps that can be used to secure another item (shirt, ski cap, etc.). Rearward of this is the cavernous main compartment of the backpack. It has 2 rectangular pockets separated with padded walls, suitable for a laptop or tablet. In the photo, there is a 17" wide laptop, which fits easily in this main compartment! There several more zippered compartments to organize other items. On top, there is a fabric handle that can be used to carry the bag or to hang it. There is also a plastic hook. The straps are padded, sufficiently large, and easily adjustable. The area that contacts your back is well padded. Behind this padding is a hidden, zippered-off, waterproof pocket, which is well suited for wet or sweaty garments. The material feels like nylon. It is very lightweight but seems resistant and strong.We are very happy with this backpack. The first thing the recipient did was to fill it with 3 soccer balls, cleats, a few water bottles, and all of his soccer equipment.
