Comes with its own robust storage box with accessories. Easy to use, easy to follow instructions. the one i received had both Brix and SG scales. First use today, compared to a reading of wort after boil, obtained by hydrometer, this was really accurate. whilst having to wait for hydrometer sample to cool, the sample used by this refractometer was so small and it was almost instantly cool and able to be used. Easily readable scale and more accurate when compared to a hydrometer as no wait for hydrometer to settle or parallax, guess work error in reading the scale.Worth the money. ensure that you get the dual scale version.

The Brix Refractometer with ATC works great right out of the box. It arrived and I opened the box and was able to easily and quickly get it calibrated. I am looking forward to having a homebrew with the correct alcohol content and taste.Thank You -

Ottimo acquisto. oggetto di buona fattura con astuccio protettivo. Molto comoda la luce a led per facilitare la lettura in caso di ambienti poco illuminati. Wir haben bisher immer mit der Bierspindel gemessen und dabei natürlich einiges an Bier verbraucht.Bei dem letzten Sud machten wir eine Vergleichsmessung und mit allen notwendigen Korrekturen waren wir bis auf wenige Zehntel gleichauf.Wir werden noch einige Sude parallel messen aber ich denke mit dem Brix Bier Würze & Wein Refraktometer kommt man als Hobbybrauer auf ausreichend genaue Messungen.Für den Preis ist das ein tolles Gerät und vereifacht dem Bierbrauer das Leben.

I use this for maple sap. Gives an accurate measurement of the sugar content. It's easily calibrated using distilled water and the included screwdriver.
