The quality of the bag is awesome. A little frustrating trying to get the dividers in. I have medium frame revolvers and I couldn’t get them in sideways; longways was a waste of space. Probably awesome for short barrel pistols.

Bought this with some 12"x16"x2" foam pieces to convert into a bag to hold my telescope eye-pieces. The additional pockets worked great for my note book, flashlights, and I was able to attach my molle holster to keep my 1911 next to me.

This is a big solid bag. Adjustable dividers and pockets help stow everything so it doesn't move. Decently heavy duty.... good purchase

My out-of-the-box-and-before-real-use impressions...Pros:1. Arrived neatly boxed. I only had to pull up the folded-down sides and it was ready for basic use2. The size is just what I wanted, and the mollé attachable/removable end pouches offer versatility3. The padding is better than I was expectingCons:1. The zippers are lightweight and only time-will-tell how durable they areNeutral:1. The soft interior of the main compartment is good for abrasion protection, but it's not material that's easily cleanable/wipeable.The interior dividers attach directly to it, as they have the hook surface on the side and bottom outer edges. The soft lining is the loop surface. But the lining is not stitched uniformly across the entirety of padded side-walls...like I'm used to with exterior surface stitching of velcro/hook-and-loop surfaces. It almost feels like the liner could pull (rip) away from the padding.Here's why I bought this bag. I just wanted a range-queen. I don't beat my stuff up or throw it around, and all are rarely transported in the bed of a truck. I'm not going to carry pistols in it, and not more than 50-100 rounds of in-case-I-need-a-teensy-bit of spare ammo. I can put more in it if I want but I don't plan on it. So, other than the minimal ammo, everything in it is pretty light. I was tired of how I would end up moving equipment back and forth between my current inventory of a sturdy backpack and a couple of mid to small sling bags. What I took depended on where I was going, and/or what firearm(s) I was going to use. And I generally took a tool/parts/cleaning box that always had way more than I needed or ever used. So now, after years, I wanted to consolidate my actual necessities (and spares) into one catch-all bag. And I wanted to have them visible enough without having to look for things. This bag size does that for me. The price was reasonable, and I admit I didn't feel like spending a lot on a I'll-see-if-I-like-this-set-up evaluation. Besides, I have other uses for it in case I determine it's not an adequate range bag.As I noted, the zippers on this are lightweight. If there was one thing I wish was better...that's definitely the one.I plan on updating this review when or if needed.

A good quality bag that is perfect for my range bag because it's wide enough to hold revolvers with long barrels and still has room for my ammo, ear muffs, and other shooting accessories. This is a sturdy bag.
