This is a really nice little handheld ranger...with nice features like an angle/degree setting. This is especially nice if you're hunting and are ranging at an up angle or down angle (tree stand). Your range is affected by this so it's helpful to see this added info that isn't std in all rangers. The camo finish is nice and you can turn off the degree feature if you don't need it, I supposed it saves on battery life. Pretty good responsiveness and gets out there with nice readings.

I often find myself stuck approximating distance when (safely) shooting targets or zeroing a scope in our rural property. This rangefinder by HUNTSEN takes all of the guesswork out of the equation by providing quick & precise distances with the click of a button. It's very lightweight & offers plenty of battery life. The foam case is well made, with a zipper & elastic band which you can use to keep the case closed without zipping the whole thing every time need the device.Would recommend this to a friend. Thank you for reading

Oy. If youโre not acquainted with how rangefinders work, the instructions to this rangefinder will drive you nuts. Firstly, the font is tiny (I donโt need glasses and I needed glasses). Secondly, the instructions are technical and somewhat confusing โ meaning the English translation leaves much to be desired. But if you persevere, you will overcome, because the Huntsen is less complicated than it seems. You really just have to learn what each Mode measures (there are 7 modes), how to change between modes (there are only 2 buttons), and what the little symbols that appear on the โinterfaceโ (what you see with your eye on the screen) mean. There are symbols for Straight Line Distance. Horizontal Distance. Vertical Distance. Vertical Height Distance between 2 targets. Scan. ANGLE. And many, many more. [I also learned that the default of the rangefinder is in METERS, but you can change it to YARDS, if thatโs your preference. You just press the Power and Mode buttons at the same time for 3 seconds.]In the Golf Mode โ signified by a little flagpole โ the rangefinder will take the Distance Measurement Value and the Slope Value, and it will provide you with the recommended hitting distance. However, if thereโs a โslopeโ behind the flagpole and the rangefinder canโt lock on the flag, youโll have to learn to Scan the slope behind the flagpole until the rangefinder locks on the flagpole and VIBRATES.Iโd be lying if I said that learning all this was simple. Itโs not. Thereโs a considerable learning curve for using this rangefinder. Huntsen couldโve made things easier if they had put a couple of more buttons on the rangefinder โ and if the buttons felt more precise when pressed. As is, the 2 buttons on top of the finder have too many multiple functions; AND you barely know youโre pressing them, when you do press them.โ And thatโs the principle reason that this is a 4 Star review instead of a 5 Star review.

This range finder makes an excellent gift for a hunter or golfer. This one is very high quality and accurate. It is made of high quality materials and is lightweight. It doesn't take up much room in a backpack so it's easy to carry on hunting trips. The case is nice too.

This is a good rangefinder to use for hunting or for golf. It has a long 1000 yard range. And six different modes for range finding. I think the most useful is the scan mode or you can move between a handful of targets and determine the different distances. It has a two points of height mode and a single ranging mode as well as speed measurement which I havenโt tested yet. It also has a golf mode, which I think a lot of people would buy this for so you can tell your distance to the flag, even with a slope. It also works as a monocular and provides 6.5 times magnification. Itโs waterproof and lightweight and fits in your palm of your hand.My only issue is the mode and power button do not have any tactile feel and itโs difficult to tell if youโve pushed the button or not. You have to look through the lens to see the display each time to determine if youโve moved from one mode to the next. Same with the power button, you have to press it when youโre on a target and itโs sometimes difficult to tell if youโve depressed the button. Also the instructions are limited and in extremely small type. I like that itโs rechargeable so donโt have to replace batteries. Overall a solid value and performs well.

This is an average finder. It is small and lightweight. The long-range image can be shaky because of the lack of stabilization. The menu is not very intuitive, but it works OK.
