I have other brands of these types of crayons, but this brand is the nicest. They also work with water to make watercolor type pictures and are easy and fun to blend.

These Crayons are excellent for combining with watercolor, color pencil, ink or acrylic work. They blend nicely. This particular color way is perfect for a more subtle, muted color palette. I haven't used them frequently with water, but I liked the effect after applying once or twice. The price is fair as well. Would make a great gift for the mixed media artist or Journal-keeper in your life.

I love the distressed markers. These crayons aren’t nearly as good, But he seems to have discontinued the markers.

I ordered these after watching a how to on Youtube with Tim Holtz. I had no idea how many uses these had and how many surfaces you can use them on. I've since ordered more colors. These are long lasting crayons and I love them for adding age and definition to my assemblage art. They work great on paper crafts, metal and all other surfaces I've tried so far.

This set #10 was just under two dollars less here at Amazon than at the craft suppliers. If you're unfamiliar with Distress Crayons it's best to watch a Tim Holtz video. They're easy and fun to use. This was a good price ($11.13) and received them in one or two days.

I think these are Ok, but maybe it's just me, I'm not a crayon sort of crafter. I prefer Tim's distress inks which are much easier to use and more vibrant.
