I bought this thinking its had a smaller collar for a better fitment of my shift knob. The chrome piece is significantly bigger than expected and barely leaves enough room to thread the bolt and knob on.

It looks sick and feels like quality material; however, if you look close it doesn't quite fit at the corners. The material is really thick and it took some patience for me to get it mounted. The ring at the top is plastic, which means that the heat will probably cause it to break before the suede fails.This is the forth shift boot, since the previous three didn't fit at all.If the base of your shift boot mount is larger than 8" x 7" (roughly the measurement for my 2007 Nissan) then this suede boot isn't going to fit.I will use this one until I can find the material to make a custom length boot, since it appears that no one makes one big enough for my application.
