I got this for the kids to play softball with and it’s great quality. Sturdy and solid. Looks good too. Works as expected. 10/10 recommend.

Despite changing ownership over the last 15 years 2 times (now owned by Seidler Equity Partners, run by San Diego Padres owner Peter Seidler, with MLB as a co-investor) Rawlings products continue to be standout youth softball and baseball products. This bat is consider an ultralightweight model in all-aluminum. The Haze drop -13 is approved for play in USA, USSSA Fastpitch, NSA, ISA, ISF, and all other associations using 98 MPH with ABI. The bat will be great for younger players that might be going against faster, older pitchers because it is very light--designed for young players to compete with better/faster bat speed. Perfect for say a 10 year old playing in a league with 10-12 year olds or a girl who hasn't hit the growth spurt.

My daughter started softball in the local city youth leagues 3 years ago but went thru an early growth spurt and is tall now. She is 12 but practices with the high school team (she's taller than all but one of the girls on the Varsity and JV rosters). She needed new gear and also needed to relearn some of her mechanics so new bats were needed as well. This was one of 2 that we have gotten for her. She looks great as she practices on her hitting and swings. The bat feels light but she can still deliver power in her hits and make contact with the ball and deliver it closer to where she intended the hit to go (if/when she intended a direction). She loves the bat and it is also a favorite of other team mates as well. So far now damage/dents and it has worn very well. So the bat is worth the price especially when compared to one we got a couple years ago that was about half the price and dented up the very first practice. Good brand traditionally too. Highly recommend this bat.

My daughter plays softball and needed a new bat to help elevate her game. Rawlings is a good brand with several good products on the market. She's had a Rawlings bat before so she was familiar with its usage. This bat does have a pop to it. You're able to hit the ball and it'll go out there. But, you have to be able to connect with the thin barrel. The bat has been used in several games and so far, the durability is good. No dents yet. The bat is of the right weight for a young female and is made just right for their form. For a bat that's less than $100, I am pleased.

I got this Rawlings (a great and trusted brand I've known for years) Haze fastpitch softball bat for my niece, who is trying out softball for the first time, and I'm really glad I did. The bat is almost frighteningly light, which makes it easy for her to swing without feeling weighed down.
