It includes a spindle to hold your thread, a spot for your glue pen, and a magnet to keep your needle in place. Size is approximately 3 1/2" wide x 4 1/4" high. Glue pen and needle not included.

I love this product and this is the first one like it that has a magnetic pin/needle holder and a glue pen holder! These are both great design features and I actually place my snips on the magnet as well. The only thing that would make this product better is a thread guide at the top of the spool holder. I sit with my feet up on my recliner as I hand sew and have this on the table beside me. Every time I need more thread, I need to lift my hand up high to get the thread to come off my large spool of Wonderfil 80 wt thread and that hurts my arthritic shoulder. For this project I'm switching between black and a medium taupe color based on the whether I'm working EPP flowers or the black background. So, I'm using this product for the spool not currently being used and put my telescoping stand with the thread guide beside this one. I'm happy to have both spools handy to use.

This product serves its purpose, but when I wiped it down with the soft cloth and water, paint chipped right off.

Right here. It’s ingenious. I’m not a EPP person (yet) but this little hand sewing station is brilliant! My needle is always on the magnet if I’m not actively sewing. Thread spoil stays put. I hang my small scissors from the thread holder too. I love this by my side when I sit to sew on buttons or hand turn a hem. For EPP folks, this would be indispensable.
