Step is plastic. Fasteners are wrong size and of poor quality.

Had problems with the bolts that came with the step. Had to get new bolts.

I'm old but not that old, but getting into my truck bed is a pain. These install easily into the crossmember with the pre drilled holes. It comes with all the hardware to go ahead and install and use. Looks just like the OEM part. If you need a step, just push it down with your foot and jump into the bed. Once you're done, just kick it back up and it's gone! A must if you're constantly hopping into your truck bed.
