Casting and machining are excellent .The 10.5 in" axle was not OE. to my truck, it was a transplant from 1978 year truck. I was a little concerned about leakage because the factory machining on the axle housing is horrible ! It looks like they dragged the housing down a gravel road for 50 miles! Despite that , the o-ring seal on the Mag-Hytec seems to seal well. Some modifying is required for the brake line brackets. But with any non -oem part this can be expected.

I went with this product based on the price from Amazon and it's reputation on the market. The cover is solid, heavy and well built.If I have any complaints it's that there isn't any allowance for the factory brake line brackets. The brackets mount to the OEM diff cover but not to this one. Of course a little fab work and it can be done but in my opinion it should come with that way. The new cover holds around 4 quarts which is quite an increase of fluid from the stock cover. It should do the job nicely.Overall I would purchase this again if given the chance. My truck is a 2011 Silverado 2500.
