I bought the cheaper alternatives that are out there, those with a tiny gap at the joints, and they broke on two occasions. I guess that's because the gaps greatly reduce strength. I don't know what was the purpose of those gaps, and to me they make no sense unless some genius thought they might save on material and break in the near future so as to be replaced again. This one doesn't have the gap, so hopefully it will hold for a couple more years.

Instead of buying an entirely new and ridiculously priced paper tray for my computer printer, I was able to replace just the part that broke after about 5 years of heavy use. This part It is NOT a cheap plastic rip-off; it is identical to the piece that broke. it was difficult to find this replacement part, and I am so happy that it was available on Amazon !
