Used this as a replacement and to raise the overall rear height of a taotao 110 dirt bike. It raised the rear up 2 in and hold my 185lbs up great! Good adjustability, good quality materials and the finish is actually really nice and tough! Has held up really well!

Bought for the 2 front shocks on a Yamaha grizzly 90. Replaced the back shock several months ago so that it didn’t sag so much. Noticed after that the front tires would bend out so bought these to replace the front. Solved the problem entirely. Only negative is now the bike is super stiff, but 6 year old doesn’t care.

TLDR - Save your money, buy elsewhere. This shock is a hunk of garbage.As a......"frugal" pitbike owner, I wanted to replace the stock shock with one that supported my adult size. I'm riding a TM23 (apolloorionetc 125cc) and the stock shock just sagged out with me sitting on it. Great for ridding nonstop wheelies, not so great for showing your KLX buddies who's the boss. So instead of springing (puns intended) for the 140$ FastAce shock, with similar spring rate, I went with this unit, figuring....meh, how bad could it be?I found out real quickly how bad it could be. The darn thing is worse than a 10$ walmart pogo stick. With the 1000# spring, there is absolutely no damping. As a seasoned off-road rider, I tolerated it, but figured I could improve things a bit, so dove down the rabbit hole of disassembling the shock to investigate what was up. Upon removing the spring, I found that the shock had about 75% of its stroke running free, with no damping (ie no oil in the shock). So I opened it up and busted out some maxima shock oil. It was then that I noticed that the air valve on the thing is 100% for show. There is no cross hole connecting it to the main shock body, and nothing to keep the airoil separated. I had a good chuckle and figured....oh those sneaky shock makers. Then I began watching the damper assembly in the main body, and realized that the retention nut was loose. Basically meaning at any point, the thing would have pulled itself apart on me mid ride. Top Notch.So as any resourceful fella would do, I loc-tited the damper nut on the main shaft and filledbled the system with fresh oil. This turned out to be a total waste of time, as the 1000# spring rate still massively over-powers whatever reboundcompression shim stack is on the damper. I would likely have to run 90W gearbox oil to get anything remotely close to acceptable.In the end, this is a massive reminder of Buy Once.....Cry Once. Do NOT buy this shock. It is garbage. Heck, its even a bait and switch with the air valve on there, but what else should be expected from a cheapcrappychinesium pitbike shock?
