I have mixed feelings about this unit. It was somewhat difficult to build, as the entire support structure of it is based on tension rods. Assembling the unit involved standing four rods up at the corners of the container, with no set spot for them to latch into; you literally just force them into the corners and hope. The bag is held inside with cumbersome hook and latch that takes a long time to undo. The bag inside is thin and flimsy, capable of holding papers, cans, bottles, but nothing as thick as cardboard or other heavy materials. It’s inconvenient to unlatch the inner bag and remove it, and inconvenient to put it back in. Additionally, you need another receptacle (like a recycling bin) to dump the inner bag into.Overall, if you have normally have light recycling like paper and cans, this is a good unit. If you do a lot of recycling, go for a sturdier receptacle.

This recycling bin has made a world of difference in my household recycling habits. We go through a lot of water bottles, and this one holds so many! The setup wasn’t super clear, but it was pretty straightforward once I got the hang of it. Once it was set up, it was sturdy and looked great in my kitchen. I love that the sides are clear so I can see how full it is without opening the lid, but the lid is easy to open too. It also comes with two mesh inserts, which makes it super easy to just pull out the bag to recycle the contents and put the other one inside. I’m so impressed with this bin that I’m planning to buy another one!

This is a nice recycling bin for your kitchen. It comes with 2 mesh liners. Was someone easy to assemble once I figured it out, as the instructions weren't exactly clear on a couple of steps. Looks nice in our kitchen and can't really tell what its use is. Plus, there are clear panels on the side so you can see how full it is without opening the lid.

This came with two mesh bag/liners, so when my son takes the recycling out, he takes out the full liner and pops the empty one on. When he’s done dumping the full liner into the recycle bin, he tosses it into the laundry room.I was a little skeptical about it when it came in, like another reviewer was. The package was small and very thin. But once you have everything in place it ends up a nice size.We don’t recycle glass here, so I can’t comment on how heavy duty it is, but for our use, it works well and looks really nice in the kitchen

What I like:The recycling bin performs its intended function quite well. The support rods actually provide sufficient framing support to the overall rigidity, helping to retain the shape and clean styling. It's been a refreshing addition to our kitchen, as our previous recycling bin had no lid, which made for an unsightly experience and allowed for odors to emanate into the kitchen.I feel that the size of the product is just right, as it's big enough to hold several days worth of our typical recycling refuse, yet compact enough to fit comfortably within our limited kitchen space. The product is rugged for reliability, yet lightweight, making it easy to manage. The inner liner really sets this bin apart from most others, but I still prefer to line the inner liner with a standard kitchen trash bag, just to help preserve the inner liner and keep it from getting soiled. What I don't like:There's nothing I dislike about the product.I'd definitely order this item again, should the need arise.

I bought a taller one and the bag insets were solid. This one the inserts are mesh but seem sturdy. I’m still wondering if it will rip easier than than the other but I like that you can see into the bag. It looks very nice and holds a lot of recycling - I was surprised at how much. It’s easy to remove the bag and it seems that the inserts can be washed easily. The receptacle itself has a feel of canvas that’s been scotch-guarded if that makes sense. So it seems like it will be easy to wipe down and keep clean. The hinged lid has an opening that’s is a generous size and most items fit into it easily. For larger items like broken down boxes just flip open and voila. Highly recommend to keep your recycling or even laundry looking neat and tidy.
