Accumulator piston kit 22841-04K for Chrysler 727, 904, 42RH 46RH 47RH 48RH / 42RE
46RE 47RE 48RE transmissions features a stronger piston made from anodized billet aluminum
and a dual seal design. The piston's PTFEs seals prevent piston-to-bore contact and the
D-rings vastly improve sealing compared to aftermarket steel rings.

The piston is too long for the spring and will hit the valve body. However, there is enough meat that I can turn it down on the lathe to match the original. Unlike others, the diameter was close to the original, so I did not have to force it into the cylinder. It will wear in fine.

The piston has a 2 nylon rings then 2 o rings the o rings are a little too large and bind in the case first boosted launch and my clutches we're cooked and contaminated my trans replaced the o rings with 2 more nylon ones and rebuilt trans no issues after that I recommend you replace the o rings if you plan on using this but other then all the work and extra money it cost me great part still 1 star due to all of what I had to deal with over some improper I rings
