I was looking for tow hooks for my new car. There is not a lot of aftermarket accessories for brand new cars. Therefore, I measure the how hook that came with the car with the ones I purchased. After being rear-ended, the little cover was damaged and wouldn't stay on. I basically bought this because it looks better than a hanging cap. Easy to install and it definitely looks better.

Installed on my 2017 Subaru Forester. You can tell it's solid steel the moment you pick it up. Color (red) looked great when I got it, but within 2 months it faded in the sun. I live in Maryland, so not a particularly bright place. I will probably plasti-dip it red since it looks blotchy and weird now. It fulfills its function well but I wish it hadn't faded so quickly.

Very easy to install and looks very durable. However, the color started to fade after only a week.
