I purchased this for my 2006 636 Ninja. It looks amazing on the bike as I have the burnt orange/red OEM fairings. I really love the raised aspect of this tank protector and I feel it does a lot to protect the tank when leaning on it. However, the adhesion leaves a lot to be desired. The glue started to wear off after 30 days. It began at the edges and started to peel off further. I always make sure to properly clean any areas prior to applying badges/protectors/etc. I am convinced the glue the manufacturer uses is inexpensive and most of the money went into the look of the item and not so much on keeping it on the motorcycle. I HIGHLY recommend a thorough cleaning of the area with water/soap and then alcohol prior to application. Let it dry 100% and then use an adhesion strengthener (usually comes in a small vial with a brush) where the protector will be applied. Apply the protector and wipe up any excess bonder.
