The Red Lion WCV2 heavy duty 2-inch check valve is designed to prevent water returning to the pump causing the pump to cycle continuously. This check valve can be used vertically or horizontally and the angled seat and weighted flapper is designed for a low pressure seal. This check valve is rated for up to 125 PSI at 72 degrees F.

Using this with a 3/4 HP red lion sewage pump. The previous check valve has been in place for 8 years and I replaced it along with the Zoeller 267 pump that burnt out.This check valve is very noisy. The pipes bang about loudly. It works as a check valve. Now I'm looking for a 2" quiet check valve for sewage.Waste of money. I hope there exists a quiet check valve for sewage. Everything I've found so far is see-through. Eewww!
