i broke one just like this (very fragile . . . don't drop!), and could not find an exact replacement until just before Christmas 2023. Silver base with silver deer and snow-cvoered trees inside globe . . . playing Silent Night. I had previously bought two for friends,and they loved them.

I bought a globe for my wife last Christmas and we really liked it. To put together a collection I also bought her one this Christmas. When she opened it we were very disappointed to find the globe was leaking and the trees and deer were not placed centrally. This thing looked nothing like the one we bought in 2021. Very sad to see that the quality of Reed & Barton globes has declined. I hope this device is not the norm now.

I loved the simple yet rich design. Large enough for decorating, but just small and light enough to pick up and set the snow swirling.The music box plunking is a little jarring for such a peaceful scene.

This globe is gorgeous! I actually had to return the first one I received and got a replacement. The first one had a tiny nick in the glass globe, a glue smear on the inside of the globe, VERY little snow glitter, and the music box only ran for a very short time. The replacement I received today had none of those issues. Lots of snow, music plays for a long time, and no defects. So, if you are dissatisfied with your globe, it is worth it to have Amazon replace it. I received my replacement the day after I requested it, so that was awesome, too. Very happy with this one!!
