This Reelworks 27807153A-R Hose Reel is crafted of heavy duty impact resistant light weight durable Polypropylene Enclosed Spring Driven Case, a newly designed swivel hose inlet connection protecting against leaks. The 3/8" x 50 FT Premium Commercial Flex Hybrid Polymer Hose has a working pressure of 300PSI / 20BAR with 1/4" MNPT connections, also includes a 36" (0.9m) Lead-in Hose + Adjustable Hose Stopper & Non-Snag Rollers, w/ a 180° Swivel bracket.
Utilizing double adjustment enclosed multi-position release ratchet spring, locking the hose at any desired length. Automatic Guide System, retracts the hose orderly way w/ no pile up. This seems like a quality hose reel. I like the automatic hose guide. The hose reels up smoothly and evenly. The hose seems like a quality hose. I don't know how this reel would hold up in an industrial setting but it is perfect for my shop. I previously had a Goodyear enclosed hose reel but it was lost in a wildfire. I feel this ReelWorks reel is equal to or better than the one I lost.

The hose pulls out and retracts really nice when it is installed on a wall. I noticed if you install the hose reel hanging from the ceiling it does not pull out very smooth. Came with mounting hardware for wood or cement installation, 1 NTP female coupler, 1 male plug, and Teflon tape. This was really helpful, however, the NTP male plug is useless on the supply side of the hose. They really should include a female plug. Overall, I am happy with the hose reel.

I do a lot of DIY woodworking and needed a new air hose reel after my old one finally stopped retracting. The hose operates in a smooth manner both pulling it out and when you return it to the reel. The hose locks into place easily and also releases just as easy. This is a perfect reel for any home DIYer.

I bought this to mount outside on the front of my garage - so the kids can fill bike tires and whatnot. It looks good and functions well, but the sun hasn't been kind to the plastic housing. And to be honest I wasn't expecting it to last forever in this regard, but I didn't expect the cover to start coming apart in a year. So in general, if you're going to mount it inside, I'd say it's a good product. But not for outdoor use.

Be prepared to purchase a lead in hose and mounting hardware. There is no template as it is discussed in the manual which may have made things easier. The lead in hose was 6 inches shorter than listed a problem as I had set up for the additional length. looks ok otherwise I will know more when I get it mounted. Good luck. Just an update I've changed my rating to a 4 star based on the products cost and operation. Now that I have put in the additional hoses etc. it's something I enjoy having in my shop. It reels nicely and the cost was minimal for such a product.
