They bend very easily. Not sure they are really 925 sterling but I like the design so I kept them.

Let me begin this review by stating I LOVE these earrings. I have worn them almost daily since my initial purchase and they have held up beautifully. The metal does bend easily so take care when putting them in or removing them as the shape can be ruined. My one complaint is that the posts bent when I first put them in and, because the material is so pliable, I’ve been worried to work the posts closer back to their original shape out of fear of the posts breaking off completely.

I didn't return them because (as very careful as I am) they are so weak and bent out of shape the first time I wore them. Whether you are putting the backs on or trying to remove them, they are weak. Love minimalist jewelry and I use take care of the things I love but..... a hard pass on this one.
