Im 5'8" about 175 and would recommend the medium ( 120 inch) size not this one if you are similar. This is really for a six foot tall person. I used this to march with a sangban drum in the recent 1/21 Women's march. The drum is 12 diameter by 18 inches long. The strap worked great but I had to really minimize the strap size. I was also a little surprised that the clip on hooks seemed a little small/ flimsy. Perhaps its to put on Remo drums but I could see them breaking on a heavier drum. This was a totally comfortable set up and I would recommend it. I wish they made a professional version of this because the concept is great. The key piece is the leather square on your back.When this thing breaks I will make a new one by using the square leather piece but upgrading the straps to 3 inch tubular (its currently flat 3 inch that can roll up) straps and putting beefier hooks on a swivel ( this one has the hooks in a fixed position) That would make it ideal.

The strap I ordered was great. It was everything advertised. It works well and is fully adjustable even for large men. The service from the vendor (not Amazon)was terrible. I paid extra for expedited service and not only did I not get it quickly, the shipment took longer than even normal freight. Would definitely not order form that vendor again.
