My purpose for getting these was a little different than it's advertised intended purpose but I did also try these out with some chains. They worked perfect for both uses. I was able to use to secure items down in the wagon I sometimes tote around nice and snug. When places on my tires they did keep the chain in a nice position and ensured that they would not slip when. I needed them most. High recommend
