Spend your money on a tube of RTV, it would be money better spent. Put on and leaked oil first time I started it. I tightened and continued to drip oil. Will be taking off a throwing in the trash and replacing with RTV gaskets!

Used on kohler courage 24 hp (725) just don’t over torque and have both surfaces good and clean. I had no issues going hand tight and a snug with a ratchet

I'm not gonna knock the product. It's thick and would work great on other ohv valves but this kholer motor has Hella issues with warping and bad milling on these metal ohv covers.I torques to spec and still didn't work, blowing oil like a chocolate fountain. Just get the liquid gasket sealer and save you some time.
