It’s an excellent replacement screen and the best thing is it comes with everything necessary to replace the screen. So, if you crack the screen this is a no-brainer get it. Hope this helps you. God Bless.

Followed the instructions, changed out the screen, and now Macbook is now running again. I ruined my old screen by leaving an external ssd drive on top of the computer overnight. In the morning, the screen was ruined and the touch bar wasn't lighting up either. Once I installed this new screen, even the touch bar was working once again, which I wasn't expecting. I recommend going to youtube and watching a couple videos about changing out the screen before tackling this project. That was veery helpful. This kit came with the tools I needed, too. You can use an ice cube tray to keep the tiny screws sorted as you disassemble, and be sure to put a note with the screws that shows what step the screws go with in the instruction book. I just numbered a piece of paper and tore each one out, putting them in the ice cube compartment with the screws and then also wrote down that same number in the instruction book.

The first one I got was great but I broke it by mistake. This one I just got and installed it right after I put a new screen protecter on. It did something strange when I booted it back up. The screen was bright then went all crazy and green then went back to normal but way way dimmer. I took my mac back apart rechecked all the connections like google said. If I use the slide bar a quarter of the way down the screen just goes black. My keyboard on it lowest setting is brighter than this thing but I have no choice I have to use it. I can just work in the dark. It is a tiny step up from only being able to see some of the screen. But like I said the first one I got worked great. I closed the lid without seeing my phone cable was in there. Please feel sorry for me and send me a new one. I'm positive I am going to be a repeat customer. :)

What can i say? the product after a month failed to work as shown in the photos the screen is completely black. I tried to reach the seller, but no customers service, they ignored completely my messages, so if you don't want waste your money, look something else.I can understand that sometimes things are not working, or things have some problems, but if the seller ignore you that's another deal.

I can’t say I would recommend these MacBook replacement screens. I ordered my first screen to replace my original MacBook screen a few months ago after it had been cracked. At the beginning everything worked just fine on the replacement; however, after about 3 weeks, the screen started developing lines in it, as shown in the photos. I reached out to customer support, and they replied quickly and sent me a replacement for free, which was great. The second screen again worked great for about a month but again has started developing lines and ghosting. I am giving this 2 stars instead of 1 due to the customer support replying quickly and sending a replacement for free.

Not as good as the original for durability or antireflectiveness, but WAY better than most OEM screens. Note it's a plastic back, so not quite as durable as the original.

Replaced the broken screen of my MacBook Pro. Suggest you watch an online video as opposed to using the booklet in the kit.
