These are made of durable materials. The wide zippered opening makes it easy to fill with sand. We bought 3 of these. I had a minor issue with 1 of the 3 but the seller addressed immediately and resolved. We live in an area where its very windy and these are very effective and heavy when full of sand. Very good product , very good customer service. I highly recommend their products

Easy to fill and drag onto the base of an umbrella stand to secure it in place. It looks like it will hold about 1 cubic feet of sand if you really want to stuff it, but I used .5 cubic feet because that was all the sand I had. It holds its shape even partially full and buckles into place around the umbrella stand shaft.

We filled it with 2 bags of sand and it still has room for more. Has held our umbrella in place without any issues. Sturdy, easy to use and put in place around the pole but is heavy when filled with sand of course.

Our whole table was being lifted and moved across our deck by the wind getting under the umbrella. Our 25-30lbs umbrella stand was completely inadequate. I put 70lbs of sand into this unit and wrapped it around the pole, and on top of the aforementioned stand. It now stays put. Only challenge was manuvering when it was full - doable, but took some effort. Looks pretty good and does not get in the way when people sit. Note: I also drilled a whole through the steel tube (that holds the umbrella) and through the umbrella pole. Then I put a sturdy bolt/nut right through the whole thing. It limits turning the unit, but helped a lot!

This bag feels solid and sturdy. Put 60 lbs of sand in it but will probably have to get another bag and max it out at the claimed 90 lbs as I have a lot of wind in my area. However, it doesn’t make sense for a cantilever umbrella. On my umbrella, the base goes away from the umbrella part. The weight is all front-leaning, so putting this circle bag around the base doesn’t really help at all. I have to just put it on the very back end of the main supporting leg, which is something a $5 sandbag could’ve done.Granted, a sandbag is less visually appealing, but so is a sad jumbled up bag that looks like it’s had better days.Nothing against the bag itself, but they shouldn’t advertise this for “every umbrella.”If you have a cantilever umbrella, consider sand bags, or a bag designed for your umbrella.

I recently purchased the Rhino Round Umbrella Base Weight, and I must say that I'm thoroughly impressed with its performance and durability. As someone who loves spending time outdoors on sunny days, having a reliable and sturdy umbrella that stays upright is essential for creating a comfortable and shaded space. After using the base weight for a few weeks, I can confidently say that it's one of the best additions to my outdoor setup. The design of the Rhino base weight is well-thought-out. It features a convenient handle that makes it easy to maneuver and a large opening to easily fill with sand. Over time it has become a but faded from the sun, but it's durability remains. Whether you're enjoying a leisurely day in the backyard or hosting an outdoor gathering, this umbrella base weight will ensure that your shade stays put!

The design with a split for the pole works well, easy to set up. We decided to use smaller ziplock bags of sand, poured from a 50-lb bag. It was easy to adjust the smaller bags to fit inside, and through a lot of rain it has held up and not leaked or made a muddy mess. It should be easy to take apart and put away for the winter as well. As others mentioned, the fabric and zippers are sturdy, and it's sewn together well. We are using this bag topping a wheeled, 50-lb round stand, to move an 11 foot umbrella on the patio. So the total 100 lbs is stable for the large umbrella, but the wheels give it that little bit of mobility we needed.

I bought this to go on top of the base of my freestanding umbrella. We do not have a table, only two chairs, so I needed some thing to anchor down the umbrella during wind storms. No matter what base I bought the umbrella would still tip over. Figured I’d give this a try. I was able to fill this with 100 pounds of sand. It’s sits nicely on top of my umbrella base and obviously adds weight. Haven’t had any major wind storms yet, but I can’t see the umbrella easily tipping over with this extra weight on it. Hopefully it holds up but for now it works well and it looks nice. And the long zipper makes it easy to fill so I like this one better than some others. I saw that only have a small place to fill the sand. Just make sure you keep moving around the sand evenly as you’re filling it, so it doesn’t get too heavy in one spot.
