Love these bowls! They are well-made, no sharp edges, beautiful designs - a work of art - and live up to the quality that Japanese products are known to produce. I use them for desserts, snack bowls, and as decorations with a floating flower at the dinner table. And, they are priced reasonably.

Lightweight, translucent porcelain bowls, simple and beautiful shape and color patterns, superb. The intricate packaging sets the stage for presenting these as pieces of art, such minutiose attention to packaging is worth only of exquisite contents. And exquisite these bowls are.The capacity of each bowl is exactly one cup. These bowls are calling for being held in hand when used, the curvature is pleasant for holding while the base is narrow, which makes it easy to tip them over if not held in hand. They are worthy of, and demanding attention in use. Not the kind of bowl you would grab in a hurry for the morning cereal with your eyes glued to the phone screen, the spoon in the other hand and your thoughts perpendicular to the whole setup. Need to dedicate well deserved attention to using these.

I got these because I love Japanese culture and their food. One thing I do know for certain is that Japan takes great pride and care with their products which is very evident in these rice bowls. The presentation of the box, the way it was carefully wrapped, and the design on these ceramic bowls are exquisite. The kanji letters on the box makes it a unique gift to give to someone who love Japanese culture. The bowls are the perfect portion size. You can still fit a lot of rice in them but I personally watch my rice intake and these bowls allow you to control your portion size and actually see how much you are serving. These have a very unique design and style which I love. Glad I got these I definitely recommend ! Hope this was helpful !

In this case, these bowls certainly did that. They are easily giftable with the way they came, and you can tell the manufacturer had an eye for detail, down to the last detail. Substantial quality and really the perfect size and weight. They feel delicate without being that delicate. They have proved to hold heat well too. I have yet to put them in the dishwasher, but can’t see why they wouldn’t do fine. If you are looking for a set of rice, or just small, bowls, these are the ones. On top of all that, what a great value. You would find it difficult buying porcelain bowls at your local economically priced super store for this price. At the time of ordering, they were $22.00 for the set of 5. That is a phenomenal price for this quality. Couldn’t be happier and use them all the time.

I liked my set so much that I bought another set as a housewarming gift. I liked that each bowl is unique but you know they are part of a setting as the colors are the same. Being microwaveable and dishwasher safe are bonuses. A beautiful and practical gift.

I truly love these little bowls! They are perfect size for rice, and I have used them for rice, but for me, they make great cereal bowls. I only ever want a little bit of cereal at a time and these are perfect portion for that. Realistically, I use them for all sorts of stuff. They fit in your hand, are easy to hold, and the designs are super cute! I love that each one is a different design and yet, they all still go together. I would love an entire set of dishes in this pattern style They are a bit frail feeling, but haven't chipped or broken as of yet and I have bumped them around a bit plus they made it through delivery and were well packed. They also stack nicely in the cabinet so they don't take up much space. I really like these!
