Works like a charm.First pull up the tab & point it straight up ⬆️Then put the hook under the tab and pull straight back, and Voilà.Remember to pull the tab straight up first..then put the hook in & it will pull all the way back.I definitely recommend this.

The prong that is supposed to fit into the loop on a soda can is too wide so it does not work.

Handy little item to have in your kitchen if you have carpal tunnel or arthritis. Lucky me I have both! Before buying this I used pliers. They worked, but this little device makes the job much easier. Yours Truly, an 80-year old coot.

I'm 83, developing arthritis, only right hand any use (stroke). This tool works great for pulling the tab, then flip it around to have leverage to peel the lid off. BUT, how do I hold the can? Useless until I can hold the can. I'm adding this in case others have the same problem. I already have a parsons ADL61-0200 Polypropylene cutting board. It's solid plastic with 2 low "walls" at one corner for putting spread on bread, I guess.I drilled & tapped the board to take a piece of 3/8"X16 threaded stainless rod. Then I made a plastic piece with a short arm that slips onto the rod. The plastic arm catches the can rim & I spin a nut down to keep it in place while I pull the lid off.Easy project for a DIYer. I looked & looked for a way to open pull top cans before. This can opener solved part of the problem. My brain solved the other part.
